We have released a new bug fix to the Live DCS Site:

Accessibility features not being retained in DCS

We noted an issue in which certain accessibility features were removed from PDFs once they were uploaded onto the DCS. This was due to the way the system processed Adobe files, incorrectly converting accessibility tags to image files.

We have added some new code to the platform to account for this, and PDF files will now retain their accessibility tags when added to the DCS.

Cover pages not reflowing on certain requests

An issue had been identified where cover pages were not reflowing with the text when a student-facing scan was opened in a pdf viewer e.g. Adobe. This has now been addressed and cover pages are able to reflow.
