Is it possible to add titles that aren't covered by our CLA Licence to the DCS?

Q: If a title is not covered by the CLA, but I have secured alternative permissions to scan the title, can I still add it to the DCS?

A: Yes, you can! We appreciate that HEIs will want to offer consistency for students, and we're happy for you to use the DCS for all your digitised content, not just CLA licensed material. Just make sure you check the permissions where needed, such as directly with a publisher, and then apply the appropriate licencing option in your DCS request. 

There's no need to archive or delete these requests before rollover, as only material marked as Covered by CLA will be included in the annual report generated by CLA as part of rollover each year.
