Does it cost anything to use the DCS?

Q: My institution is interested in using the DCS to automate our reporting and streamline how we provide digitised content to our students, but need to consider the costs before signing up. What are the costs involved?

A: The DCS is available to all HEIs with a CLA HE Licence at no extra cost. Please get in touch if you're interested in a product demo, or would like to get started. 

The only costs you may incur when using the DCS is if you choose to purchase copyright fee paid copies from, or outsource your scanning to, the BL via EHESS, or purchase second extracts via the Second Extract Permissions Service. That said, the cost of these services is the same whether you use the DCS or not, so there's no additional costs involved when using the DCS.
