Accessibility of Born Digital content

We understand that accessibility is of the utmost importance when it comes to the content offered to students. Born Digital was designed not only to save our DCS users time by side-stepping sourcing and scanning content, but also to give students access to high quality publisher original content.

Our participating publishers have provided further information on the accessibility of the content they've submitted for the Born Digital initiative. Please see below for more details:

The WCAG 2.1 AA designation is all-encompassing for our products. For PDFs, this means that:

• Content (bookmarks, pages, chapters, etc) is tagged
• Reading order is set
• Heading levels are set programmatically
• Fonts are accessible
• Color contrast follows requirements
• Alt text is present

Taylor & Francis
