Setup requirements 
To set up integration with OCLC Worldshare, please 

1. Email [e-mail] with the following information:

• OCLC Symbol
• Registry ID

 The Base URL is always: http://www.worldcat.org/webservices/catalog/

The integration uses OCLC's search API only - WorldCat Search API (wcapi). This is the API for which Registry ID you will need to provide.

2. Complete an OCLC Mutual Customer Access Form for the DCS (allowing access to your catalogue data via the Share API) this can be requested from CLA or from OCLC.

This will need to be completed and signed by a representative from your HEI, and sent to OCLC using the email, [e-mail].

Below is an example of how your DCS settings will look after a successful integration is setup.

Checking the setup in a DCS request
Once integrated you should check your catalogue holdings in the DCS to ensure the setup is correct. An integrated title should appear as below.

If the catalogue result is incorrect or you purchase an item not in the catalogue, you can confirm ownership using the 'Override' icon.

If the result is in error, stating that you own material that you do not, this can also be overridden using the 'Override' icon.
