Filtering and sorting on tables in the DCS now works a little differently.
You can now filter, sort, hide, and manage columns in the following tables in the DCS:
- Requests in Progress
- Completed Requests
- Search and Discover results
- Users
- Courses
- Check Permissions
Each table has the same options. You can apply the following actions to each column:
- Sort by ascending/descending
- Filter on each column heading of each table
- Hide column – we realise some tables have a lot of data stored within them, so you can now hide columns that are not relevant to you
- Manage Columns – you can manually choose which columns you wish to hide/show by using this feature
To use any of the above features, follow these simple steps:
- Hover over the column header
- Click on the 3 dots at the right-hand side of the header
- Your table management options will show in a drop-down menu:
To close the table, simply click anywhere else on the page, or click the X if you have opened the Filter option.
Your table preferences will remain applied even after logging out of the system. The changes will only be made to your account, not your colleagues’, so each user can have their own level of personalisation.
