Publisher Supplied Content Generation (New)

Choosing to use Publisher Supplied content (formerly known as Born Digital) is much more straightforward than in DCS 1.0.

This article will explain how to generate an extract using Publisher Supplied content.

When you get to the source content section of the Content Request, if there is a Publisher Supplied extract available, you will see a row in the table under Publisher Supplied sources that looks like this:

In the DCS 2.0, the Publisher Supplied extract is generated automatically for you. You do not need to do anything yourself. 

To preview the content that’s been generated, choose Preview from the menu at the end of the row (please note that you may need to scroll to the right to see the menu):

If the page range isn’t correct, come back to the Content Request and select the item by clicking the radio button on the left-hand side of the row and choosing Range Check from the menu:
