The below outlines various tasks/bugs that were raised by HEIs that were worked on and deployed in the month of April.

1. Assignee selection should remain on dashboard 

Users requested that the assignee drop down on the DCS dashboard retained the selection after leaving the page and/or logging in and out of the DCS. If you are a DCS Admin, you will have the ability to see other users' names in the drop down, and you will also have the ability to select "all users". Whatever selection you now make will be retained when you navigate away from the dashboard or log out and log back in: 

2. Academic Requests in Progress change to Assigned Academic Requests

It was bought to our attention that the label "Academic Requests in Progress" was an unclear label. We were asked to change it to "Assigned Academic Requests". This is a simple label change which has now been implemented:

3. Add IPv6 for IP and EZProxy authentication

Users now have the option to add an IPv6 range to their IP authentication if they wish. To add this, simply do as you would when adding another IPv4 range:

1. Go to My Institution
2. Go to Authentication
3. Click "edit"
4. You will have the option to toggle between IPv4 and IPv6 when adding a new range:

You can find your IPv6 address by searching "What's my IP" and copying the IPv6 from there (if you have one). Please contact your IT team to ask what you should input into the "Bits" filed. This is usually the value of 64, but will always be worth checking with your IT team.

4. Amend expiry dates

SEPS is now the only Licence Permission that requires an expiry date. Primary Licence, Direct Permissions Obtained and Legal Exception are all optional:

5. Watermark removed from HEI supplied content

Users made us aware that the addition of a watermark prevents you from downloading previewed content, making changes and re-uploading it. The watermark has now been removed so that you can resume this workflow. We are working on removing the watermark form the preview of Publisher Supplied content.
